Never classify an auth error by its message text. Google's 401 says "invalid authentication credentials" - neither word the regex sought.

So the refresh-and-retry never fired, and a perfectly connected account was told its YouTube connection had expired.

Killing a request does not cancel the work it started. A 90s backstop marked a slow Instagram carousel failed - it published anyway.

Now a timeout parks the row as processing and we ask Meta what actually happened to the container. Building the children in parallel also cut a 10-image carousel from 90s to about 25s.
